Laika Productions is an Athens-based film production company founded in 2018 by director-producer Marina Danezi and producer Tasos Koronakis.
The company develops and produces short and feature-length films across fiction, documentary, animation and hybrid forms.
Alongside its original productions, Laika has extensive experience producing documentary series for Greece’s public broadcaster ERT and COSMOTE TV, including the acclaimed series The Haunts.
Drawn to stories where personal lives intersect with memory, history and social change, Laika approaches every project with intimate observation and a deeply human perspective.
Its films have premiered and received awards at international film festivals, while its current slate is being developed through European co-productions.
Laika creates films that resonate with audiences and contribute to contemporary cultural and social dialogue.
