Marni Films is an independent production company producing feature films and documentaries by emerging and established filmmakers with a strong authorial voice. Founded in 2011, Marni began as a co-producer on projects such as Alps by Yorgos Lanthimos and went on to co-produce acclaimed titles including A Blast, Wednesday 04:45 and Stage Fright, screened at major international festivals such as Locarno, Venice and Tribeca. The company’s first feature, Suntan, premiered at Rotterdam and SXSW and received multiple awards, while its latest documentary, Stories of a Lie, premiered at IDFA. With a strong focus on international fiction and documentary co-productions, Marni Films is completing several projects and developing a new slate of feature films.
