STELIOS KAMMITSIS

Stelios Kammitsis was born and raised in Cyprus and studied Film at SUNY Purchase in New York. He is a producer, director and screenwriter. He has founded his own production company in Cyprus, Felony Film Productions. He served as a producer and co-producer on numerous short and feature films which participated and won awards in many major international film festivals and got distributed around the world. As a co-producer his credits include ANIMAL by Sofia Exarchou (Locarno IFF 2023 & LUX audience award 2024), THE MEGALOMANIACS by Spiros Stathoulopoulos (Tallinn Black Nights 2025), WHAT MARY DIDN’T KNOW by Konstantina Kotzamani (Locarno IFF 2024), WISHBONE (2024) by Penny Panagiotopoulou. He is also a co-producer in the upcoming debut feature film of Efthimis Kosemund Sanidis A WHOLE PERSON ALMOST and an executive producer in the debut feature film of Konstantina Kotzamani TITANIC OCEAN, both currently in post production. As a director and producer his credits include the short film DOWNHILL that won two prizes at the Drama International Short Film Festival, among other awards. His feature film THE MAN WITH THE ANSWERS has been commercially released in more than 20 countries (distributed by m-appeal sales), winning two Audience Awards at the Thessaloniki International Film Festival in 2021, among other honours. The latest film he directed and produced, LIFE IS CRUEL TO VASSILIA BELOUSI, is a co-production between Cyprus, Greece and Belgium and is currently in post-production.
